Biography

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2016-2017): Missed season due to injury…Academic All-Big Ten. 

As a Redshirt Freshman (2015-16): Went 3-2 before missing a majority of the season due to injury…went 2-2 at Bearcat Open (11/8)…defeated Nick Widmann (Drexel) by decision, 9-8 (11/8)…pinned Wyatt DeMarre (Brockport State) at 3:52 (11/8). 

As a Freshman (2014-15): Served a redshirt season and won 10 times at 149 pounds…captured his first collegiate win against Navy’s Joshua Miller at the Clarion Open (11/2)…won twice at the Nittany Lion Open (12/7)…won three times at the Wilkes Open (12/28)…nabbed a pair of victories at the Messiah Open (2/7).

Before Maryland: A two-time National Prep All-American…an NHSCA sophomore All-American … a three-time Junior Olympics All-American…won a state championship his senior season and was a four-time state placer…second team All-Met selection by The Washington Post and a two-time all-county selection…accumulated the second most wins in Spalding history with 179.

Personal: Biggest sports thrill is winnign the team state title in high school...sports hero is Peyton Manning...career plans include being in the FBI...majoring in criminology and criminal justice.
