Dillon Gregory joined the University of Maryland Sports Medicine staff in 2024 as an assistant athletic trainer working with the Terrapins football program.

Prior to coming to College Park, Dillon spent two years as an athletic training apprentice with the NFL Houston Texans. He worked closely with the Texans as they won their AFC South title in 2023.

In 2022, Dillon Graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Communication Studies. During his two years at New Mexico State University, Dillon worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the football, softball, and men's tennis programs.

Dillon graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training. While a student at South Carolina, Dillon worked with the football, baseball, and softball programs.

During his time in undergraduate and graduate school, Dillon completed two summer internships with the NFL Carolina Panthers (2019,2021).

Dillon is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), is trained in dry needling techniques, and is CPR/AED certified.

A native of North Charleston, SC, Dillon currently resides in College Park with his wife Madelyn.
