TALLAHASSEE, FL. - Freshman Carey Brennan posted 14 kills and freshman setter Lindsay Davey tallied a career-high 48 assists, leading Maryland to a 15-11, 13-15, 15-8, 15-11 win over Florida State in volleyball action tonight in Tallahassee, Fla.
The Terps also got strong performances from senior outside hitters Beth Murphy and Kate Hannas, each of whom had 13 kills. Hannas and junior middle hitter Nnenna Amobi each had six blocks.
For Florida State, Aisha Thornton recorded a match-high 23 kills.
Maryland is back in action against UMBC Tuesday at Ritchie Coliseum at 7 p.m.
