College Park, Md.- Senior middle hitter Nnenna Amobi (Silver Spring, Md.) smacked a career-high 26 kills and had a .432 hitting percentage as the University of Maryland women's volleyball lost to Wake Forest 15-10, 10-15, 11-15, 11-15 Tuesday night at Ritchie Coliseum.

Sophomore setter Lindsay Davey (Aurora, Colo.) recorded a career-high 62 assists in the loss for the Terps. Senior middle hitter Maren Stuart (Tampa, Fla.) chipped in with 16 kills and sophomore outside hitter Amanda Ayres (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) added 13 kills for Maryland.

Junior outside hitter Trina Maso de Moya led the Deacon attack with a match-high 28 kills for the winners.

With the loss, Maryland falls to 8-4 while Wake Forest improves to 9-1. The Terps are back in action Friday, Sept. 22 at home versus Florida State. The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
