College Park, Md. - Head softball coach, Gina LaMandre, has established Maryland softball as a major competitor at both the regional and national levels. Since the commencement of Maryland softball in 1995, Coach LaMandre has laid the foundation to a successful program. The two-time All-American pitcher has led the team to many accomplishments in all aspects of the game:

• 1996 Pitching staff led NCAA with lowest combined ERA at 0.82.
• 1997 Fastest team to enter Atlantic Coast Conference and win league championship.
• 1999 ACC champions and birth to NCAA tournament.
• 1999 Finished the season ranked 12th in the nation.
• 2001 Began construction for hte new state of the art softball stadium.
• 1996, 1997 and 1999 NFCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.

Throughout each season, Terrapin players dominate their conference and region, shattering records for wins, runs scored, hits, RBIs, overall team and individual batting averages, home runs, sacrifices, extra base hits, pitching victories and strike outs.

Progressive Pitching Clinic
Coach LaMandre and Maryland softball are now offering a three session pitching clinic to better prepare you for your upcoming season. Enrollment size for the pitching clinic will be limited so hurry and save your space today!
Clinic Dates: January 5th, 12th and 19th
Clinic Times: Group 1 2:00-4:00 p.m., Group 2 4:30-6:30 p.m.
(*If you enroll in a hitting clinic you will be placed in Group 2)
Price: $120

Progressive Hitting Clinic
We will also be offering a multi-week hitting clinic. The clinic will be held in conjunction with the pitching clinics to better accomodate for pitchers who also wish to work on their hitting skills. The hitting clinic is limited so hurry and reserve your space today.
Clinic Dates: January 5th, 12th and 19th
Clinic Times: Group 1 9:00-11:00 a.m., Group 2 11:30-1:30 p.m.
(*If you enroll in a pitching clinic you be placed in Group 1) Price: $120. If you enroll in both a pitching and hitting clinic the price will be $200

Offensive One-Day Clinic With Maryland Softball Team
This day clinic will feature the 2003 Maryland softball team! Come work on the skills necessary to become a successful hitter with top collegiate athletes. Please inquire about team sessions and group discounts.
