The second meeting came at the ACC Tournament, where Maryland got goals from Jason Garey and Domenic Mediate to come away with a 2-1 victory.

There will not be LiveStats or live audio for the game on Sunday.

Up Next: Maryland will travel to William & Mary for a non-conference matchup on Wednesday, Sept. 22, before returning home to play Duke on Saturday, Sept. 25.

Notes & Quotes From The Loyola Game
• Maryland continued to pour on the offense in a 9-0 win over Loyola. The nine goals was the most since the Terps defeated Manhattan, 10-0, on November 7, 2001, at Ludwig Field.
• Abe Thompson pushed his career point total to 104, becoming just the second player in Maryland history to reach 100 career points. Thompson now needs just six more points to surpass Eberhard Klein (109 points) as the all-time leader.
• Maryland has scored 29 goals in five games so far this season. By comparison, the Terps did not score their 29th goal until the 14th game in 2003.
• Not only are the 29 goals the third-highest five-game total to begin a season, but it is the fifth-highest total of any consecutive five-game span in history. The last time Maryland scored 29 goals in five games was the 1965 season.
• Maryland set a Ludwig Field record with 13 assists against the Greyhounds. The previous high was 12, set against Manhattan. Abe Thompson tied the field record for points in a game (seven) -- the mark previously set by Jason Garey against St. John's. Michael Dello-Russo and Garey tied the field record for assists in a game (three).
• Aki Kadotani scored the first goal of his career while Eric Brunner notched his first collegiate point with an assist.
• Six different players scored goals for the Terrapins and nine different players found the scoring column either a goal or an assist.
• The nine goals against Loyola are the third-highest total in the NCAA this season. Western Kentucky scored 12 goals against Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 12.
• The nine goals surrendered by Loyola were the most since 1961, when Catholic defeated the Greyhounds 9-1. The nine goal differential was the most since 1958, when Catholic downed Loyola 11-0.
• "I think we showed Loyola a tremendous amount of respect by the way we prepared for them. "They are always a tough game for us because they are well coached and disciplined, and I think they were missing a few key guys and felt the effects of a difficult weekend." -- Sasho Cirovski

Getting Offensive
• Maryland has proven so far in the young season to have one of the most explosive offenses in the country. The Terps have the highest scoring offense (5.00) in the country as of Sept. 12.
• The Terps' total of 16 goals in three games is the most in a three-game span since 1970. The total is also the highest three-game total to begin a season since 1965 when Maryland scored 16 goals in the opening three games of that campaign.
• Maryland's 20 goals in four games is the most in a four-game span since the national championship year of 1968. That year, the Terps opened the season with 22 goals in four games with wins of 3-2 and 3-1, before exploding to 6-1 and 10-1 victories in the next two games.
