A preview of this year's University of Maryland basketball team will be featured on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 6:00 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet as part of FSN South's ACC COLLEGE HOOPS PREVIEW: 2005. The 30-minute in-depth look at the Terrapins is one of 12 special programs to showcase each ACC school. Maryland's preview will also re-air on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 17 at 12:30 a.m.
Comcast SportsNet's Sage Steele will host the Terp's preview show, while FSN South's ACC ALL ACCESS reporter Jenn Hildreth will provide feature reports. FSN college basketball analyst Mike Gminski interviews coaches and players, while former head coaches Bobby Cremmins, Eddie Fogler and Perry Clark offer perspective on each team.
Each edition of ACC COLLEGE HOOPS PREVIEW: 2005 will review the 2004-05 season as well as offer insight, analysis and projections for the 2005-06 season. Shot largely on-location at the campus of each ACC school, the shows will also include profiles and interviews with the head coaches and key team story lines that may unfold during the season.
Each of the ACC COLLEGE HOOPS PREVIEW: 2005 shows also air nationally on Fox College Sports (FCS) - three regionally-aligned channels (FCS Atlantic, FCS Central, FCS Pacific) programmed from the 20 FSN and FSN-affiliated regional sports networks. FCS is available to 40 million digital homes nationwide and is seen by viewers in the nation's 25 largest cities.
