COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Gary Williams Radio Show, featuring Maryland head basketball coach Gary Williams and Hall of Fame broadcaster Johnny Holliday, will make its 2005-06 debut Thursday at R.J. Bentley's in College Park. The 60-minute live call-in show will air each Thursday (see full schedule for exceptions) from 8-9 p.m. on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.

Students, alumni and all Terrapin fans are invited to join the Terps head coach each week throughout the season and will have opportunities to win Maryland Basketball Prize Packs. Fans will also be able to ask questions on-location at R.J. Bentley's or by calling toll free (800) 518-4012.

Williams, who is entering his 17th season as head coach at his alma mater, conducts the weekly-call-in show alongside Holliday, who has been the "Voice of the Terps" for 27 years. Other show features will include a "Where are they Now" segment with former Maryland coaches and players, and a weekly update from other Atlantic Coast Conference action.

The show airs on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network, with calls originating from flagship stations WHFS 105.7 FM and ESPN Radio AM-1300 in Baltimore; Network affiliates include: WMAL AM-630 (Washington, DC), WTBO AM-1450 (Cumberland), WFMD AM-930 (Frederick), WARK AM-1490 (Hagerstown), WMSG AM-1050 (Oakland), WQMR 101.1 FM (Ocean City), WCEM AM-1240 (Cambridge); and WAMD AM-970 (Aberdeen).

The Terps tip-off the 2005-06 regular season this Friday, Nov. 18, against Fairleigh Dickinson at 8 p.m. at the Comcast Center.
