POSITION VACANCY

 

 

POSITION TITLE:               Video Intern

                                               

DEPARTMENT:                   Intercollegiate Athletics

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:    The video intern will provide video service for Maryland Athletics teams, primarily for the Men's Soccer and Men's Lacrosse teams.  Additional office duties of tape library cataloging, coaches' video and post-production editing, assisting during the winter semester with Gymnastics, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball, and other duties as assigned.  Additional opportunities available working on the crew for Terpvision--Maryland's videoboard production team at the Comcast Center and Byrd Stadium

 

QUALIFICATIONS:     Prior camera operator experience required.  Bachelor's degree preferred.  Experience working as a student videographer preferred.  Editing experience preferred.  Computer literacy preferred.  Knowledge of or experience working with college sports teams preferred.  Intern should be available to shoot all home games, and is required to travel with assigned team to all away games and tournaments, including travel over nights and weekends.  Assigned team will provide travel, meals and lodging.   Candidate must be able to work non-traditional hours, approximately 30-40 hours per week.

 

SALARY:  Salary is $8.00 per hour.
