  • Maryland (No. 12 ESPN/USA Today, No. 14 AP) looks for its sixth straight win and its 10th win in the last 11 games in the last of four consecutive non-conference home games...At 10-2, the Terps are off to their best start since the 2001-02 season (13-2)...The 12th-ranked Terps are at their highest ranking since Nov. 29, 2004 (No. 12)...Maryland is 8-0 at home this season and has won 11 straight games at Comcast Center dating back to last year...The Terps have won 28 consecutive non-conference home games...Maryland is averaging a league-high 84.1 points per game and five different Terps have led the team in scoring in the last six contests...The Terps have allowed an average of 16.7 points in the first half of the last three games, while outscoring their opponents, 135-50...With 344 wins as the Terps' head coach, Gary Williams is just five wins shy of becoming Maryland's all-time winningest coach.

Williams is the 11th-winningest active coach in NCAA Division I men's basketball with an overall record of 551-308 (.640).
