Maryland plays host to Winthrop on Monday (Nov. 20) at Comcast Center. The Terps enter the contest with a mark of 5-0 after posting back-to-back wins over St. John's (92-60) and Michigan State (62-60) to capture the 2006 2K Sports College Hoops Classic Championship in New York City.
Maryland is 5-0 for the first time since the 1998-99 season. The Terps jumped out of the gate to a 10-0 start that season and finished the year 28-6.

Strawberry ranks 11th in school history with 149 career steals. He was named Honorable Mention All-ACC Defensive Team in 2005-06.
Ibekwe sits in seventh place on the school's all-time blocked shots list. The Carson, Calif., native has 155 career rejections at Maryland and has averaged 1.6 blocked shots per game.
Ibekwe needs 10 rebounds to move into the top 30 of the all-time rebounding list at Maryland. He has tallied 562 rebounds through three seasons with the Terps.
Senior Mike Jones has distinguished himself as one of the best shooters in the ACC and has rapidly moved up the school's all-time three pointers list. Jones has totaled 133 three-point field goals and sits in seventh place on the school's all-time list. Jones has hoisted 342 shots from beyond the arc, which is the eighth highest total in school history.
Gist has totaled 94 blocked shots during his three seasons in College Park. He is 12th on the school's all-time list and has averaged 1.4 blocks per game.
