COLLEGE PARK, MD. - Lindsay Klein celebrated her final home game as a Terrapin by driving in two Maryland runs in the bottom of the sixth to give the Terps their second dramatic win in a row, a 3-2 victory over Boston College on Sunday. With the win, Maryland wrapped up the regular season with its second ACC series win of the year.

The Terps head into the ACC tournament with a 32-24 record and some good momentum after taking two of three from the Eagles. The Terps finish 8-12 in ACC play. Boston College wraps up its regular season with a 14-29 record overall and 4-15 in the conference.

Maryland will begin postseason play with a game against third seeded Georgia Tech Thursday at 10 a.m. The Terps fell twice to the Yellow Jackets earlier this season in College Park.

A sacrifice fly by Britney Thompson scored Jenna Macchi to put the Eagles on the board first in the fourth, but Maryland responded in the bottom of the inning.

Amber Jackson singled up the middle to break up Thompson's no-hitter in the fourth, and Jackson moved to third on a bunt by Jenny Belak and a throwing error by the BC catcher. Klein's first single of the game scored Jackson and evened the game at one.

Macchi and Thompson scored hits off of Maryland starter Meredith Nelles in the top of the sixth to put runners on first and third. Abbey Welch came in to relieve Nelles, but catcher Jennifer Wellborn could not corral a high pitch from Welch, and Macchi slid into home on the passed ball.

With the Terps trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Jackson singled again, and then stole second to get into scoring position. Keri Lounge, the hero of Saturday's game, walked to put Klein at the plate again. The senior responded with another single, this one to center field, and Jackson scored from second to tie the game at two.

Jennifer Wellborn hit a pop-up to center fielder Carly McNary, but she could not hold onto the ball, and Lounge scored the game winning run for the second consecutive game.

Boston College's Amanda Booth walked to get on base in the seventh inning, and she advanced to second after Amy Tunstall grounded out to Welch. Macchi could not send her teammate home however, and she went down swinging to end the game.

Welch earned the win for Maryland to improve to 5-1 on the season. Thompson took the loss for Boston College and fell to 9-14.
