Terrapin Team Shop Announces Grand Re-Opening

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland Athletic Department and eSports Partners, Inc., a leader in sports merchandise solutions, announced today the grand re-opening of Terrapin Team Shop at Comcast Center. The Terrapin Team Shop, the Official Store of Maryland Athletics, is located at 2626 Comcast Center.

On Thursday, August 30, men's basketball head coach Gary Williams will be at the store signing autographs beginning at 3:00 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. Director of athletics Deborah Yow, members of the University of Maryland coaching staff and athletics department, and eSports Partners CEO, Michael McKay, will be on site to celebrate.

From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, fans will receive 25 percent off all purchases at the Terrapin Team Shop. In addition, fans can register to win great products from Under Armour such as caps, tees and bags. Come hear WJFK 106.7FM broadcasting LIVE from the store beginning at 2:00 p.m. In addition, free drinks and snacks are available beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Customers can now expect to see the largest selection of officially licensed Maryland merchandise at the Terrapin Team Shop, including Under Armour football sideline apparel, t-shirts, jerseys, caps, home furnishings and much more. The store will offer an expanded assortment of products including women's and children's merchandise. Fans will enjoy an enhanced shopping experience with the new renovations to the retail store, including faster check-out and processing times.

In addition to operating the Terrapin Team Shop retail store, eSports Partners also operates the Official Online Store of Maryland Athletics, located at www.umterps.com, and the merchandise operations at all other athletic events. The new state-of-the-art mobile shopping units at Byrd Stadium will allow for improved product selection, faster processing and the ability to take credit cards in addition to cash.
