GREENSBORO, N.C. - ESPNU will air Maryland's December 3rd game against Michigan as part of the 10th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The game will tip off at 7:30 at Comcast Center. The Challenge features 11 games between the two conferences. The ACC has won each of the nine challenges and has won 56 of the 86 games between the two leagues.
Michigan leads the all-time series between the two schools, 3-2, but the Terrapins claimed the last meeting in 2000 (82-51). Maryland is 1-1 against the Wolverines at home, but has not played host to Michigan since 1937.
Maryland is 6-3 in the event, including a 4-0 mark at home. For the fourth consecutive year, the event will feature 11 games and include two telecasts on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network. ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to televise the remaining nine games. The event will be played on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after Thanksgiving (December 1-3).
