COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Terrapin Sports Radio Network has announced it will continue to have WJFK-FM as its radio affiliate in the Washington, D.C., area for the 2009-10 Maryland men's basketball season.

Part of the CBS network, 106.7 The Fan has become one of Washington's most popular stops for area sports fans. Home of the Sports Junkies and a new talk show featuring Washington Post columnist Mike Wise, The Fan will be an important part of the ongoing coverage of Maryland basketball throughout the season.

Since WJFK-FM also is the broadcast home of the Washington Wizards, the play-by-play of some Terrapin men's games will be shifted to WTGB-FM-94.7.

Pregame shows for each Maryland basketball game will still be broadcast on WJFK, whether it's the normal TSRN pregame or a studio show that will air during afternoon drive time hosted by Holden Kushner.

Maryland Media Relations will provide information regarding pregame shows in both its normal game notes releases as well as on www.umterps.com.

Games that will air on WTGB-FM-94.7 for this season, with tipoff times, are:

Nov. 3 - vs. Indiana, Pa. (Exhibition), 8 p.m.
Nov. 20 - vs. New Hampshire, 8 p.m.
Nov. 24 - at EA Sports Maui Invitational, TBA
Dec. 1 - at Indiana (Big Ten/ACC Challenge), 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 6 - vs. Villanova (BB&T Classic), 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 22 - vs. Winston-Salem State, 8 p.m.
Jan. 12 - at Wake Forest, 8 p.m.
Jan. 26 - vs. Miami, 7 p.m.
Feb. 17 - at NC State, 9 p.m.
Feb. 24 - vs. Clemson, 9 p.m.
March 3 - vs. Duke, 9 p.m.
