RESPONSIBILITIES: The Facilities, Operations & Events Coordinator will serve as an assistant to the Facilities, Operations & Events Management Team in the areas of game management, facility changeover and special projects. Specific duties include management of student and support staff to conduct setups, breakdowns and projects. This position will also be involved in staff coordination of approximately 150 guest relations staff, special events to include ACC and NCAA Championships, facility management (Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex), sport liaison (field hockey and women's lacrosse) and other duties as assigned by the Associate Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and experience in event management. Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Strong verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
APPOINTMENT: Regular, exempt: Projected start date August 17th, 2009
SALARY: $10.00 per hour, overtime eligible. No health benefits.
