COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Maryland men's soccer team wrapped up the spring season with a 1-0 victory over the Harrisburg Islanders Tuesday.
Patrick Mullins netted the game-winner in the 55th minute to spark the Terps in their final competition of the spring. Maryland battled a familiar face as Jason Herrick suited up for Harrisburg, a USL squad, at Ludwig Tuesday.
"It was a great way to end the spring," head coach Sasho Cirovski said. "We put a tough schedule together in order to harden, challenge and humble our team and I think we were able to do just that. I am really looking forward to the fall season."
Maryland fans can expect the release of the 2011 slate sometime within the next two weeks.
