Day 1 Results 
CAMBRIDGE, Md. -
Sophomore Sean Bosdosh carded a 3-under 68 in round one and a 1-over 72 in the second round to finish tied for eighth after the first day of the fourth annual Maryland Intercollegiate at River Marsh Golf Club. Maryland is sixth with a score of 571 and the team placed three players and two individuals in the top-30.
Freshman Jordan Sweet, playing as an individual, is tied for eighth with Bosdosh with a score of 140 (72-68). Senior Sean Brannan is right behind Bosdosh and Sweet. Brannan took three stokes off his first round score and carded a 2-under 69 in the second round to move into a tie for 13th.
Senior Joey Rice joins Bosdosh, Sweet and Brannan in the top-30. Rice fired a 144 (69-75) to finish tied for 28th along with junior Stephen Bosdosh (70-74).
In his first collegiate event, freshman Ben Warnquist shot a 4-under 67 in the second round to rocket up the leaderboard and complete the day tied for 38th with a 146 (79-67).
Sophomore Will Wiseman and freshman Mason Short, playing as an individual, rounded out the Terrapin group carding a 157 and 152, respectively.
Teams will take the course for the final round Tuesday morning with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
Twelve teams joined Maryland at the tournament: Bethune-Cookman, Binghamton, California-Pa., Georgetown, Loyola, Mount St. Mary's, Old Dominion, Pennsylvania, Robert Morris, Seton Hall, Towson and Winthrop.
Winthrop leads the field heading into the final round with a 544 (277-267). Pennsylvania trails Winthrop by 14 strokes (280-278). Winthrop's Taylor Dickson leads individuals with a 131 (66-65).
