2012 Maryland Men's Soccer Spring Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team begins a tough spring schedule March 9 when it travels to VCU. The Terps will play a total of six dates this spring.

Following its opening match at VCU, Maryland plays the El Salvador U-23 team March 11. The game will be played at the Germantown Soccerplex. Tickets for this match are $20 and available to the public for purchase at various locations listed below or by calling 703-577-5749.

The Terps return to action at the end of the month, heading to Richmond for a match against the USL's Kickers March 31. Maryland battles its final three opponents in College Park including contests against 2011 NCAA tournament participants St. John's (April 15) and Delaware (April 25).

Maryland caps the spring slate with a match against Harrisburg City of the USL April 28. The Harrisburg match will be part of Maryland Day/Alumni Weekend festivities.

"We are excited to be playing so many high caliber teams this spring, including our match against El Salvador just weeks before their Olympic qualifier," head coach Sasho Cirovski said. "This spring we will also get the opportunity to play an extra game which will help us work on things in preparation for the fall season."
