First Day Results
GEORGETOWN, S.C. -
Sophomore Sean Bosdosh opened with an even-par 71 and senior Sean Brannan carded a 3-over 74 in the second round to lead the Maryland's men golf team to eighth place Sunday after the first day of the General Hackler Championship at DeBordieu Club. The Terps scored a 304 in the first round and closed the day with a 300.
Following the opening round, Bosdosh was tied for fourth. The Clarksburg, Md., native enters the final round on Monday tied for 12th with a 146 (71-75).
Brannan is tied for 31st after carding a first round 77 and a 3-over 74 in the second round. Freshman Ben Warnquist also sits in a tie for 31st. Warnquist fired a 76 and 75, respectively, for a first day total of 151.
Freshman Jordan Sweet is tied for 51st with a 156 (80-76) and senior Joey Rice is tied for 61st with a 158 (82-76).
North Florida is in first place after the first two rounds with a 582. The Osprey's Sean Dale leads all competitors with a 139 (69-70).
For the Terps, the final round begins Monday at 7:30 a.m.
