COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team travels to Wallace, N.C., to take part in the River Landing Intercollegiate this weekend at the par-72, 6,901-yard River Landing Golf Course. The 72-hole tournament begins Friday, April 6 with the first two rounds of play. The final round is scheduled for Saturday, April 7.

The River Landing Intercollegiate is the final regular-season tournament for the Terps. Maryland heads to Old North State Club in New London, N.C., for the ACC Championship on April 20-22.

The Terps
Maryland finished in a tie for 14th last time out at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. Senior Sean Brannan led the Terps with an 8-over 224 to tie for 34th.

Brannan is the leading scorer on the squad this season. The Hollidaysburg, Pa., native is averaging a 75 per round, which is 32nd in the ACC.

Sophomore Sean Bosdosh is second on the team in scoring with a 75.33 average, which is good for 33rd in the conference. Bosdosh is tied for second on the team with eight rounds at or below par this year.

Freshman Jordan Sweet leads the team with four top-20 finishes, and senior Joey Rice has played nine rounds this year at or below par.

Freshman Ben Warnquist and Bosdosh fired the 54-hole low of the spring at the General Hackler Championship with 223.

River Landing Intercollegiate
The 12-team field features five ACC teams in Duke, who is 18th in this week's Golfweek Rankings, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and the Terps, as well as East Carolina, Jacksonville, Liberty, South Carolina, UNC Wilmington, VCU and Winthrop.

The Terps finished 11th at last year's River Landing Intercollegiate. Sophomore Will Wiseman led the team with a 1-over 217 and a low round of 71 to tie for 19th.
