MANAKIN-SABOT, Va. - Maryland junior Sean Bosdosh shot a three-under par 141 in 36 holes Monday at Hermitage Country Club to take the lead of the VCU Shootout heading into Tuesday's final round.

Bosdosh shot a two-under 70 on the opening 18 and followed it up with a one-under 71 during the afternoon session to take the outright lead. Four golfers sit a shot behind him, and three more finished at even-par through 36 holes.

The junior will tee off at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday looking to defend his lead over the tournament's final 18 holes.

Maryland finished the day in fifth place with a 593, just two strokes out of third-place. Wichita State (580), Virginia Tech (587) and Iowa State (591) finished Monday 1-2-3, respectively.
