
Fall World Series to Begin Oct. 15

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland baseball team concludes its fall season next week with the annual Fall World Series.
Game one of the best-of-three series is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15 at Hoy Field on the campus of Gallaudet University at 2:30 p.m. The second game will be played at Gallaudet on Saturday Oct. 17 at 2:30 p.m. as well, with game three scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at Harford Community College.
The Fall World Series is being played away from College Park as a result of the ongoing renovations to Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium.
The Terps set a school record for wins last season with 42 and advanced to their second consecutive NCAA Super Regional.
