Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be responsible for the day-to-day sports medicine/athletic training operations for the women's soccer team and women's tennis team to include prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes; pre-participation physicals; maintaining medical records; completing required insurance claims; daily interaction and communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, and administration; attending team practices and events; manage functional movement assessments, corrective exercises, and injury prevention programming; assisting with administrative duties; and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, or related field/concentration required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a certified Athletic Trainer providing health care for intercollegiate and/or professional athletes required. Strong organization, administrative and communication skills. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Previous athletic training experience with soccer athletes preferred. Experience with assessment and interpretation of relevant preventive screening and recovery practices for soccer athletes preferred. Must have current Board of Certification (BOC) along with CPR/AED Certifications.
