COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Former Maryland standout and 13-year NBA veteran Steve Blake paid the Terrapin men's basketball program a visit Tuesday at XFINITY Center.
Blake, who is in the area for his annual basketball camp, spent the afternoon with the Terps, talking with players and observing the team's summer workout session.
“It was great seeing the team and watching them work out,” Blake said. “It is a really good group of guys. I always enjoy coming to back to College Park and I'm looking forward to an exciting season of Terps basketball.”

“It's great to have former Terps back in College Park and we had a really good time hanging out with Steve Blake,” rising sophomore guard/forward Jared Nickens said. “Those guys inspire us to work hard every day and represent the program the best we can.”
