• Sophomore Gordon Wild netted a hat trick to lead the No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team to a 3-2 double overtime victory over Delaware Tuesday night. Wild – who is third nationally in goals scored with 14 – scored the game-winner, his sixth of the year, in the 107th minute.
• With Tuesday's win, Maryland wrapped up its first perfect home regular season (11-0) since 2005, when it captured the national championship.
• The Terps continue to dominate the league statistically. Sophomore Gordon Wild leads all players in the Big Ten with 11 goals. Sophomore Amar Sejdic paces the conference in assists with seven. The Terps are tops in both categories as a team.
• Maryland's winning streak now sits at 11 games, its longest stretch since the 2012 campaign when the Terps won 13 straight. The Terps have not lost since falling to Ohio State in Columbus on Oct. 31, 2015 – a stretch of 21-straight matches. Maryland is off to its best start in program history, matching its 14-0-2 start in 2012.
• Maryland is averaging a nation-best 4,159 fans per game, nearly 300 more fans than second-place UC Santa Barbara. The Terps also lead the country in total attendance (45,748).
• The Terps will host the No. 8/No. 9 game of the 2016 Big Ten Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5, before playing the winner of that game in quarterfinal action Sunday at 4 p.m. The semifinals and championship of the tournament will be played at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind., just outside of Indianapolis Nov. 11 and 13.
