Kocher Leads Terps at East Bay Deli Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Junior David Kocher leads the Maryland men's golf team after the second round at the East Bay Deli Classic at the Turtle Point Golf Club at Kiawah Island.

Kocher sits tied for 22nd with his score of 146 (74-72), which is two-over par total. 

Freshman Peter Knade owns a combined score of 149 (74-75), which is five-over. Sophomore Chris Navarro earned a 155 (78-77), sophomore Timothy Colanta shot a 157 (79-78) and fellow sophomore Justin Feldma earned a score of 160 (82-78).

Tuesday's third and final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available here.

Maryland is one of 22 teams competing, including Augusta, Abilene Christian, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Gardner-Webb, Francis Marion, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Loyola, Memphis, Nebraska, Presbyterian, Radford, Rutgers, Tennessee, Troy, USC Upstate, Winthrop, Wofford and tournament-host Charleston Southern.

The Turtle Point Golf Club at Kiawah Island is a par 72 that covers over 7,100 yards.
