COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team will open the spring season this weekend in the Puerto Rico Classic at the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
The event will be played on the River Course. The 54-hole event begins Sunday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET and the teams will play 18 holes every day, ending Tuesday. Live stats are available here
Maryland is one of 15 teams playing in the tournament, including Georgia, Clemson, Oklahoma, Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Michigan, Northwestern, UNC Greensboro, Virginia Tech, Minnesota and tournament-host Purdue. The field includes five of the nation's top 15.
