COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Each week during the 2015-16 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Lindsey Schmeiser of Maryland softball.
This past Sunday, against No. 5 Alabama, Lindsey Schmeiser became the all-time home run leader in Maryland softball program history with a sixth inning long ball. Schmeiser now has 31 career home runs. In addition, Schmeiser also holds Maryland softball program records for most doubles (21) and RBI's (59) in a single season.
