Desktop Support Analyst

The Desktop Support Analyst will provide daily helpdesk support of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions. Additional responsibilities include: the administration and internal support of Intercollegiate Athletics computer desktops (PCs/Macs), printers, servers, and related equipment; tasks include end user support, asset management, license tracking, desktop computer maintenance, upgrades and configurations; support for Intercollegiate Athletics Game Day operations which includes setup and configuration of stat monitors, printers, wireless connectivity, provide basic troubleshooting for internal and external customers during the sporting events which will require some evening and weekend work, and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, education, and/or training and a minimum of two years of experience in a computer field is required. Proven customer service and problem solving skills, providing onsite and remote support services. Excellent communication and writing skills. Basic networking skills and troubleshooting connectivity issues…Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support; Apple Laptops and Desktops OSX installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support; Technical Certification suggested. (A+, Network +, MCP). Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and the ability to bend down, pull cables, and maneuver under desks for IT support and equipment is required. Bachelor degree; a working knowledge of Statcrew, Statbroadcast, Daktronic, and other game day athletic software; Experience supporting Mobile devices including Android, IOS and Windows; Experience with the setup and configuration of A/V equipment (Projectors, Monitors, Wireless Display Technology)are all preferred.
