COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 10/9 Maryland men's basketball team travels to No. 20/19 Purdue Saturday for a 4 p.m. matchup with the Boilermakers on ESPN.

• The Terrapins continue to shine defensively, ranking first in blocked shots (97) and second in scoring defense (65.7), FG pct defense (.390), and three-point FG pct defense (.310) in the Big Ten Conference during league play. Maryland is ranked second nationally among Power Five schools in total blocks with 162. Diamond Stone (2.1), Robert Carter (1.4) and Jake Layman (1.3) rank third, fifth and sixth in the Big Ten in blocks per game during conference games.

• Maryland is one of only three teams to be ranked in the top 10 all-season long (Oklahoma, Kansas). The Terps have been ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 for 32 straight weeks and the USA Today Top 25 for 33.

• Sophomore guard Melo Trimble has 146 assists this season, 40 more than he distributed as a rookie in 2014-15. The Upper Marlboro, Md., native's 146 dimes are the most for a Terrapin in a single season since Bob Cousy Award winner and current guard for the Milwaukee Bucks Greivis Vasquez dished 208 in 2009-10.

• After last Sunday's four-point win over Michigan at XFINITY Center, the Terps are now 20-3 in games decided by six points or less over the last two seasons - the best mark in NCAA Division I Men's Basketball.

Rasheed Sulaimon has scored in double figures in five of his last six games and is averaging 16.8 points per game over that span. The senior from Houston, Texas, recorded his first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds against Purdue on Feb. 6 in College Park.

• Purdue is 3-3 in its last six outings, including a loss its last time out at Indiana, 77-73.

• A.J. Hammons leads the Boilermakers with 14.6 points per game. Hammons (7.9 rpg) and Caleb Swanigan (8.5 rpg) pace Purdue on the glass, which ranks second in the Big Ten in rebounding margin (+10.9).

• The Terps lead the all-time series, 2-0, including a 72-61 victory on Feb. 6 at XFINITY Center this season. Rasheed Sulaimon posted his first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Melo Trimble went 10-for-11 from the charity stripe in the win.
