VIDEO: The Duo Behind the 'Running Man Challenge' Phenomenon

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Fresh off their appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley took in Tuesday afternoon's episode of the program surrounded by teammates and coaches.

The sophomore duo – who has inspired the viral dance craze known as the Running Man Challenge – sat down with the acclaimed talk show host to discuss the popularity of the dance over the past weeks.

"It was my first time in Los Angeles,” said Nickens when asked about the trip. “It was definitely fun place to be, and meeting Ellen was a great experience."

The appearance culminates a whirlwind of media attention, over the past weeks, which included millions of views on social media. Neither imagined the locker room dance would garner such national attention, but have been thrilled with the experience.

"I think its pretty cool actually, because anybody can do it; it's positive,” said Brantley. “We're getting snapchats from people from Australia and places all over the world doing a dance. So I just think that's really cool."
