COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men's soccer team has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the Big Ten Conference via the coaches' poll released Wednesday.
The Terrapins concluded the 2015 campaign with a 12-5-6 record (3-2-3 Big Ten), and claimed the Big Ten Tournament title for the second straight season. Maryland made its 33rd NCAA Tournament appearance and 21st in the past 22 seasons.
Seniors Alex Crognale and Chris Odoi-Atsem and sophomore Eryk Williamson earned All-Big Ten preseason honors.
