Buch Leads Terps in Day Two in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - Freshman Bennett Buch led the Maryland men's golf team in the second round of the  Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Beach and Spa Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Buch went +2 with a 74 in Monday's second round for a combined score of 146 (72-74). He is two-over total and tied for 32nd.

Sophomore Timothy Colanta shot a 76 Monday for a combined score of 147 (71-76) and is +3 overall. Freshman Peter Knade earned a score of 81 in the second round and owns an overall score of 154 (73-81), which is 10-over.

Junior David Kocher shot a 79 Monday and now has an overall score of 155 (76-79) and is +11. Sophomore Justin Feldman also shot a 79 Monday. He owns a combined score of 159 (80-89), which is +15.

They will tee-off at 7:30 a.m. ET Tuesday in the third and final round. For live scoring, click here.

The Terrapins will compete against North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia Tech, NC State, Mississippi, Middle Tennessee State, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Northwestern, Clemson, Georgia, UNC Greensboro and tournament-host Purdue.
