COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland campus will welcome thousands of fans, friends, and neighbors for a spring visit at the 19th annual Maryland Day Saturday, April 29. The intercollegiate athletics department will join other on-campus programs for fun-filled activities at McKeldin Mall on the Main Stage, followed by Big Ten contests for men's lacrosse and softball.
Join the Maryland football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams as they take part in special photo and autograph sessions throughout Maryland Day. Below is a schedule of when each team will signing autographs. At the football session, there will also be an Uplifting Athletes Obstacle Course with fans.
Fans are encouraged to bring items to be signed by their favorite Terps and autograph cards will also be provided. Limit one photo and autograph per person. The line will be limited to the first 500 people.
Football: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (also Uplifting Athletes Obstacle Course)
Men's and Women's Basketball: 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Volleyball: 1:30-2:30 (Practice your volleyball skills)
The Maryland softball team will take on Penn State Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Terrapin Softball Stadium. Admission is free.
To cap off Maryland Day, the fifth-ranked men's lacrosse team will take on No. 8 Johns Hopkins at 8 p.m. at Maryland Stadium at Capital One Field. For tickets, click here. Fans are encouraged to wear white to "white out" Hopkins.
