COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 6 Maryland men's soccer team wrapped up its preseason undefeated as the Terps blanked No. 8 Syracuse on Saturday night at Ludwig Field.
Gordon Wild scored all three goals in the 3-0 victory for Maryland, which officially begins the season next Friday at Santa Clara.
The Terps also defeated St. John's 2-1 and American 3-0. Miles Stray and DJ Reeves scored in the win over St. John's while freshman Eric Matzelevich (2) and Emmanuel Korvah provided the offense in the victory against American.
Maryland begins its home slate against Hofstra on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Ludwig Field.
