Maryland Renews and Expands Relationship With SSB to Enhance Fan Insights and Engagement

COLLEGE PARK, Md - Maryland Athletics has renewed and expanded its relationship with SSB, a leading data management and analytics platform provider. The renewal expands the relationship to ensure Maryland is an industry leader in engagement with current and prospective fans, donors and alumni.  With the implementation of new technology through the partnership, Athletics can deliver messaging that is tailored to each individual in all categories.

Earlier this year, the Athletic Department underwent an extensive business intelligence assessment.  During this assessment, Athletics worked with colleagues in the Department of University Relations to develop a collaborative approach with the long term goal of turning data into a strategic asset.
