WILMINGTON, N.C. – Sophomore
Virunpat Olankitkunchai of the Maryland women's golf team is leading the field after two rounds at the Landfall Tradition tournament this weekend at the Country Club of Landfall Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.

Olankitkunchai is three strokes under par with a score of 141 (70-71). She has a two stroke advantage for the lead over South Carolina's Marion Veysseyre and has a three-stroke lead over Arkansas' Dylan Kim, the No. 2 overall player in the country.

As a team, the 56
th-ranked Terrapins are tied with Michigan for fifth out of 18 teams competing with a score of 599 (309-290). The Terps are in front of No. 14 Wake Forest, No. 19 Purdue, No. 37 North Carolina and No. 39 Penn State,

Ludovica Farina is tied for 26
th with her + 6 score of 150. After shooting a 79 in the first round, she scored a 71 in the second round and eagled a par 5 hole.

Xiaolin Tian is +11 with her score of 155 (78-77), and sophomore
Laura Van Respaille owns a combined score of 156 (84-72), which is 12 strokes over.

Freshman
Elena Verticchio earned a score of 162 (81-81) through the first two rounds.
