CHICAGO, Ill. – The Big Ten announced its football schedules for the 2022-2025 seasons on Wednesday afternoon. As part of the Big Ten's schedule rotation, Maryland will host five conference games in 2022 and 2024, while hosting four in 2023 and 2025.
The Terps open Big Ten play in 2022 against Michigan on September 24. They'll host Purdue (Oct. 1), Northwestern (Oct. 22), Rutgers (Oct. 29), Ohio State (Nov. 19) and Michigan State (Nov. 26) at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.
Maryland begins conference action against Michigan State in both 2023 and 2024. The Terps travel to play the Spartans on Sept. 23 2023 and will host them on September 29, 2024.
The 2023 schedule also includes Big Ten West match-ups against Illinois (Oct. 21), at Nebraska (Nov. 11) and at Northwestern (Nov. 18). In 2024, the Terps will host Minnesota (Oct. 19) and Northwestern (Nov. 23), while traveling to Iowa (Oct. 26).
The 2025 schedule is highlighted by a Big Ten home opener against Michigan (Sept. 20), and home games against Penn State (Oct. 18) and Wisconsin (Nov. 8).
