Evan Santa earned his first Big Ten honor while junior
Peter Knade earned his second honor and senior
Timothy Colanta was honored for the third straight season.
Santa played in all 10 tournaments last year, finishing in the top 10 once and the top 20 twice. He tied for 10
th with a seven-under 209 at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate for his best showing of the season.
Knade competed in all 10 events for the Terrapins last season, earning eight top-20 finishes and two top-10 finishes. He led the Terps and tied for sixth at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate last year. He went four-under with a 212 on the event and won Big Ten Golfer of the Week following his performance.
Colanta played in all 10 tournaments last season for Maryland as well, finishing in the top 10 twice. In his best outing of the year, he tied for eighth in the Janney VCU Shootout last fall when he went six-under-par to lead the Terrapins.
Maryland will open its 2018-19 season at the The Invitational at The Ocean Course in Kiawah, South Carolina on Sept. 9-11.
