Assistant Director of Annual Giving

The Assistant Director of Annual Giving will serve as a member of the Terrapin Club annual giving team and external fundraising unit and will be responsible for the following duties: Manage all aspects of a portfolio including qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of assigned prospects; Provide a high level of service and communication to all internal and external constituents; Conduct over 150 in-person visits annually with assigned or prospective donors; Actively build and develop a prospect pipeline of leadership annual fund donors and be able to identify major gift prospects; In collaboration with the annual giving team assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive annual fund solicitation strategy including, but not limited to: personal solicitations, implementation of direct mailings and emails, annual renewals, and new membership acquisitions; Provide detailed reports for seating and parking requirements and collaborate with the ticket office to assist with annual seating and parking upgrades as well as any re-seating or parking adjustments; Coordinate and develop strategies for increased Terrapin Club young alumni participation serving as the liaison with other ICA units and the Terrapin Club board volunteer committee; Provide support for capital campaigns and premium seating projects; Work with an assigned sport program to assist with their annual giving strategies; and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience working in a collegiate development office or sales related environment is required. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, assertive professional with strong organization skills; self-motivated with the ability to set goals and monitor progress; and must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact with donors by providing a superior level of customer service.
Experience with Paciolan software preferred.
