COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland softball head coach Julie Wright announced her team's fall 2018 schedule Wednesday. The slate features eight games between the months of September and October, as Wright preps for her fourth year at the helm of the Terrapin program. All four doubleheaders will be played at Maryland Softball Stadium. 

The Terps will start the fall season with a doubleheader against Georgetown on September 21, before hosting Towson for two games on September 29. UMD returns to the diamond on Saturday, October 6 to play a doubleheader against St. Frances, before wrapping up its fall campaign with a doubleheader vs. George Mason on October 12. 

The Terps will welcome nine new faces to the fold in 2017-18, including six freshmen. In addition, Wright added assistant coach Vicky Galasso to her staff for the upcoming year.
