WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The Maryland women's golf team wrapped up at The Landfall Tradition Sunday in its last event of the semester. The Terrapins competed at the Country Club of Landfall's Pete Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.

Virunpat Olankitkunchai was just seven strokes over par with her score of 223 (73-73-77). She picked up five birdies in the first round Friday and finished tied for 45
th in the tournament.Â

Junior
Laura Van Respaille picked up two birdies in the first round and three in the third round. She finished with an overall score of 229 (77-79-73), which was +13. Freshman
Maria Vittoria Corbi had an overall score of 230 (74-81-75). She picked up a birdie in the first and third round.Â

Senior
Xiaolin Tian picked up two birdies in the second round and finished with an overall score of 231 (74-79-78), which was +15. Freshman
Angela Garvin finishes with a score of 232 (79-78-75). She picked up two birdies in the third round.Â

As a team, the Terrapins earned a score of 907 (298-309-300). They finished 16
th of 18 teams in the field.

"We underperformed this week which really cost us, as it was one of our stronger competition fields of the fall season," head coach
Diana Cantu said.Â

"This will be motivation for our team as we have a lot to learn from this experience, including from our mistakes, and what we need to work on to come back strong for the spring."
