Stefon Diggs had a memorable Thursday Night Football appearance with the Minnesota Vikings. Diggs had a record breaking night in the Vikings' win over the Washington Redskins. He broke the Vikings' franchise record for most receiving yards (452) within three games, previously held by Hall of Famer Randy Moss (446) in 2001.
Diggs' seven receptions for 143 yards marked his third straight game with more than 140 receiving yards, tied with Moss for the longest game streak with 140+ yards in Vikings history.
This also pushed him into the Vikings' top 10 list for career receptions. Throughout his four-and-a-half long career, he's compiled 339 receptions, tied with Ted Brown for ninth all-time. Let's admit, Diggs has the right to be this happy:
Those who watched the game agree: "Diggs is playing on another level."
Beware of "Sacksonville" Jaguars' Yannick Ngakoue, who made two sacks in the 29-15 win over the New York Jets.
Through his four years with Jacksonville Ngakoue posted 32.5 sacks, marking him with third-most sacks in franchise history.
JC Jackson's tackle in the Patriots' 27-13 win over the Browns showcased his contribution to New England's defensive success. This past week, Western and Southern Financial Strength listed Jackson as having the lowest passer rating allowed among CBs in 2019.
DJ Moore had five receptions for 38 yards in the 51-13 loss to the 49ers. The 2018 draft pick also made a touchdown-saving tackle during the game. Â Moore has received praise for his ability to perform well at a young age in his NFL career.
Darnell Savage Jr. returned to the field Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, leading the team with six solo tackles in the 31-24 win.
Let's just say, fans were happy to see Savage return.Â
