COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Javon Leake returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown, but Maryland fell to No. 14 Michigan, 38-7, at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Michigan's Giles Jackson returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown to get things started for Michigan, which used two first-half scoring runs by freshman Zach Charbonnet to build an early lead.
The Wolverines improve to 7-2 overall and 4-2 in Big Ten play. The Terps fall to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in league play.

Anthony McFarland Jr. led the Terps with 60 rushing yards on 14 carries, while freshman

Isaiah Davis led the defensive effort for Maryland with nine tackles.
