• The Terps are looking to match the program record for consecutive wins top open a season (11) with the 1996-97 and 1975-76 teams. Maryland's 10-0 start is the second-best in program history, matching the 1998-99 and 1972-73 seasons. The Terps have won their first 10 games by an average margin of 17.1points.

• Maryland opened Big Ten play with a dramatic 59-58 win over Illinois, coming back from 15 points down in the second half to secure the victory.
