The Director of Video Production will work as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Broadcasting & Production staff, and be under the direct supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director of Broadcasting & Production.

The Director of Video Production will edit creative audio visual content across all of Maryland Athletics platforms, serve as the primary motion graphic designer for the athletic department, and help to create a video content plan to enhance the recruitment of student-athletes across all the programs at the University of Maryland; Will hire and teach students to assist with responsibilities, providing real world experience in a fast-paced environment; Create a plan to successfully include and execute captioning for audio visual content on Maryland Athletics owned platforms (including: in-venue and on the website) and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree required in Video Production, graphic design, or a related field with experience and a minimum of two (2) to four 4) years of experience with non-linear editing (Premiere, Final Cut), motion graphics programs (After Effects, Cinema 4D), and graphics programs (Photoshop).

Proficiency with Mac systems and Adobe Creative Suite along with the ability to produce and create exciting audio visual mediums are required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.

Preference will be given to those candidates with collegiate or professional sports production experience, and to those with provable experience in 3 and 4D compositing.
