EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Anna Kufta drove in her team-leading 39th run of the season, Sammie Stefan knocked in another run, and Taylor Wilson crushed a big double to plate a run, but the Terps' Sunday output didn't match their offensive production of Friday or Saturday and would fall to Michigan State, 11-3 in five innings.

The game was well within reach up until the fourth inning. Through the first three innings, the score was tied at two. Wilson's RBI double gave the Terps a one-run advantage, but the lead was short-lived as the Spartans exploded for seven runs in the fourth and got two more across in the fifth to mercy rule Maryland in the fifth inning in walk-off fashion.

Sydney Golden got the start in the circle for the Terps and made it through 3.1 innings before handing over pitching duties to Kiana Carr and later, Sami Main. Golden was credited with the loss and now sits at 11-6 on the season.

Maryland spends another weekend on the road, next weekend facing Indiana in Bloomington for another Big Ten three-game series.
