Knade Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va.  – Maryland senior Peter Knade capped off his stellar performance this week with his third career Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor. 
 
Knade, a native of Easton, Md., went 12 strokes under par overall and finished second at the VCU Invitational Tuesday in Richmond. Knade finished just one stroke behind the individual leader, Carter Morgan from Old Dominion. Knade shot a 67 in the first round, 68 in the second and a 69 in the third and final round Tuesday. He finished with an overall score of 204, which is four strokes better than his previous collegiate career best of 208.
 
This is the third time in Knade's four-year career that he has earned Big Ten weekly honors. Knade was previously named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on Oct. 4, 2017 and Sept. 12, 2018.
 
Knade and the rest of the Terps will return to competition Oct. 5-6 at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in Raleigh, N.C.
