COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 17 Maryland men's basketball team looks to complete a season sweep of Indiana Sunday as it travels to Bloomington for a 1:00 pm tip on CBS and the Maryland Sports Radio Network.

STORYLINES

• Maryland has won five of its last seven meetings against the Hoosiers, including an emphatic 75-59 victory earlier this season in which the Terps led by as many as 30 points in the second half. Assembly Hall is the lone arena Maryland has not secured a victory in since joining the Big Ten, having lost all three meetings.

• Sophomore Jalen Smith is one of the hottest players in the country, fresh off scoring a career-high 25 points at Northwestern. "Stix" is averaging 20.3 points on 59-percent shooting over his last three games, including 46% from beyond the arc and 10 rebounds/g.

• The Terps checked in at No. 14 in the latest edition of the NET rankings, and nine of their final 12 games will be against quad 1 opponents. In the KenPom rankings, 12 Big Ten teams are currently ranked in the top-40.

• Sophomore Aaron Wiggins has made 10 of 21 three-point attempts over his last three games, breaking out of a slump in which he had hit just 5 of 21 three's in his previous six games combined. Wiggins scored a career-high 17 points at Northwestern, knocking down 5 of 9 three's.

• Senior Anthony Cowan Jr. has scored at least 16 points in 10 of his last 15 games and currently leads the Big Ten in free throws made (93). He was recently named to the Wooden Award top-25 list.

• Anthony Cowan Jr. (518 asts) passed Terp legend John Lucas (1972-76) for fifth on Maryland's all-time assists list against Northwestern. He also passed Melo Trimble for 13th on the scoring list (1667) against the Wildcats. Cowan is one of two players in Maryland history to record 1,600 points and 515 assists (Greivis Vasquez).

• The Terps played their 100th Big Ten league game against Northwestern, moving to 64-36 (.640) in 5+ seasons. The Terps are 136-53 (.720) overall since joining the league, trailing only Michigan State.
